A contributing correspondent for 48 Hours since 2003, Maureen has been with CBS News since 1997, covering a wide variety of news across the globe, including award-winning investigations into International Adoption, the Hollywood Ripper, Michael Gargiulo and the most recent explosion of gang violence in Chicago.
 
Since 2006, Maureen has also anchored 48 Hours on Discovery ID and 48 Hours Hard Evidence on TLC.
